Wrestling is so fake...One of my pet-peeves is people who argue that it's completely real.

Yeah, two wrestlers running into each other backstage w/ a camera conveniently there reading lines like it's a soap opera is real.

 

Some of those stunts were intended to be done like the way Chris Benoit slammed himself on the table to produce excitement. Wrestling may be scripted, but that doesn't necessarily mean that everything is fake. They are professionals, so they try to make the stunts hurt as little as possible. Brock Lesnar got a real bad concussion right after getting hit face first. So what if wrestling may be fake? people watch it anyways because its entertaining.

Owen Hart was suppose to make his entrance by getting lowered to the catwalk by a rope, but it went wrong. The release of the rope was stuck so Owen Hart went back up and came falling down 80 feet at 50 MPH and hit his head and leg first on the turnbuckle of the arena. There is no footage of the whole accident because it was too fast to be caught on film. So you think it is still "fake"?

I will admit maybe two of those didn't go according to the coreography (excuse my spelling) but most of the were extremely done the right way.

IT WASN'T ON PURPOSE. I am aware that there is always a risk if something goes wrong in wrestling, but I am just saying that all the moves and all that is staged. They don't make up the moves off the top of their heads. They even cooperate w/ each other moves. I would struggle and try not to get a powerbomb if I could, but no, they want to "get hurt" and cooperate w/ it.

I mean really guys, do you think someone would stay in Pro Wrestling after getting hit w/ a real metal chair or getting put through a burn table and onto thumbtacks and then getting hit the crap out of them w/ a 2x4 of barbed wire?

Who the fuck would have the nerve to go out on stage in a Speedo, and grab another man, and get in the 69 position, and jump off of a 5foot pole? Yeh I'd feel really gay doing that one now.

I don't remember what time it was at, but the one of http://youtube.com/watch?v=BOXEHHelchE when 1 of the guys had another guy in the 69 position, and he jumps off, he like...sinks he mouth into his balls or something. Very painful for both guys.
