I am suggesting that SoR* shouldnt be allowed to be sold here on Sythe, most of the chinese sellers are using exploits, keylogs even phising to obtain those accounts, if you should be allowed to sell those, we might aswell let the people that keylog and phish sell the hacked ones that they obtain.

I know some farmers are selling old botting accounts which can be resurrected. I don't personally see a problem with it unless there is proof its been illegally obtained

 

Correct, most people are selling old ones obtained during 2008-2009 tho, obviously not legally since they force you to accept their policy before purchasing which goes somthing like this: http://puu.sh/16jq3 I just think its the same either ways.

 

I'm pretty sure in any case on sythe those terms are void, just as they are with rs accounts where they claim no responsibility. Blizzard is normally good with customer service and any problems related with the merge will be told by them, so if the account was illegally obtained they would tell you.

 

Yes but the thing is the accounts has been obtained in 2008-2009 so they can easily claim no responsibility because the odd chance that the accounts will get recovered are so slim, but in this case its 110% the same as selling hacked runescape accounts, they should atleast provide proof that they were obtained legally.

 

I'm sure if you have ways to prove it was legally obtained the staff would have no problem with adding it to the sticky in the section.

 

Well I guess we both have diffrent ways to look at this.

 

Personally, I would prefer proof of legality over proof of illegality. Otherwise, many accounts that are purchased could be banned shortly after purchase - in which case the seller would have to cover the price and, frankly, you need to be able to trust someone to do the right thing in this situation.
