WoW or RS?

Having not directly played WoW myself, and having only played similar MMO's that actually aren't WoW, my opinion will be accordingly biased and/or askew.

Still, I prefer RS - due to the fact that RS provides such a diverse number of skills, all of which can be trained and interact... and also because it has a volatile economy.

 

Never played WOW but $15/mo seem a little bit much. RS is only $6/mo but your just repetitively clicking mouse.

WoW costs money, and for that reason alone I've never got round to playing it. Although, come to think about it it's not as if you aren't paying extra for nothing. I might try it out.

 

Runescape, is more better.

^this shows the inelegance level of most runescape players. Most can barely string together a coherent sentence.

Due to the way runescape works there HAS TO BE more skills. The combat system in runescape takes up seven skills in itself(attack,HP,defense,strength,agility,range,magic) which WoW has merged into its overall combat/level system.

Wow has basicly every skill that Runescape has (with a few exceptions).

runescape skills - WoW skills

Crafting- leather working/skinning

mining/smithing - mining/blacksmithing

fishing - fishing

cooking - cooking

summoning - pets(class dependant)

construction - WoW has no real construction skill but the REAL guild/clan system makes up for this

runecrafting - closest thing to this is enchanting

slayer - slayer is not a skill as such, its just killing monsters just like all of the combat skills

cant remember anymore RS skills atm but you get the idea.

actually i prefer none anymore. it have always been rs but im not sure about that anymore, jagex is ruining the game all the time. wow have never been funny but i honestly have to say wow still...if we compared old rs to wow then wow would loose big time!

I hate WoW

Tryed it about 5 times through the years, still hate it now.

It bores the hell out of me and also graphics dont matter to me that much.

RS is better.

 

rs, its noob friendly and not too confusing

 

I preferred Runescape until they removed the full drop pvp system. Currently Leveling and pvp is just much more fun in World of Warcraft.

 

If you knew anything about Warcraft, you would realize that you can max out Warcraft skills in a couple of days easily.

&you can only pick two major skills, so you cannot train them all.



Wow Vs Rs??

A Java Browser Game VS a DirectX 4G+ DL Game?

I mean honestly, how do you REALLY compare the two? You just can't, not fairly...
I'm certain that Runescape's graphics would be the same, if not better than Warcrafts if they used their huge game engine, but Runescape decides to stay small, for their own reasons.

I've played both, a lot.
I personally like Runscape better...
I have a 128 in Runescape, and I've had 3 80s in Warcraft.
I've been into the whole Raiding scene of Warcraft, and the PVP aspect of Warcraft, but it always ends up being one big GRIND; much like Runescape
HOWEVER Runescape has more than just a few GRINDS, theres a lot of "grinds" that will keep your attention... somewhat.
Warcraft you have two MAJOR things in the game... Raiding, and Pvp

I do have to admit, the PVP system of Warcraft is better than Runescape.

 

Yeah a DirectX 4g+ DL game beats a Java Browser game BY FAR..

I'm not trying to be biased, but wow wins..

They also have great customer service.. RS doesn't put out a phone number.

 

I think the people who are like

"RUNESCAPE FTW" Haven't ever tried wow..

I've played both for 4+ years.

 

W0w for sure, jagex ruining their game every week we can say, it's ok with wow.

 

How can you compare a Browser game to a "real" game.
I my opinion WOW is more fun.
especially the pvp in wow is very addicting, like working together with different classes is so fun to do in pvp and dungeons.
Runescape is like everyone on his own. (exept for these new minigames ofc.

My vote is for Wow tho I only got to lvl 50.

 

I would usually say runescape but in the last 3 months i've turned over to WoW.

I can get 1 WoW characters to 80 faster then it would take me to get 99 attack.

Not to mention, in WoW you need an attention span to play it's far more then just

click....click....click...oh...mime random....click..click..oh level 64...click....click
