WoW or OSRS?

started as a panda windwalker monk loving it so far!

 

Personally just looking at WoW, it looks confusing man so much shit going on, reminds me of EOC alot but like EOC on roids, osrs pretty simple and reminds me of the text based games you could play on command prompt windows haha, those were fun!

LOL. You are wrong. I'm 21 yrs now and I still play RS(for ~10 yrs) and I can't quit this awesome game RS > WOW #noxpwaste

 

I think people play osrs just because of nostalgia. nothing new in the game. ded game osrs.

Good of a time as any to start playing WoW tbh. Get all of the expansions up until the most current one for free, all you have to do is pay the $15 a month sub.

If you have more than 1 member account on RS you're literally paying more than you would playing the most popular / successful / up to date MMO and I think that's a bit sad if you're not RWT as well lol.

 

Wow during its prime in Vanilla/BC > over OSRS. At its current state though, i'd pick OSRS over it.

Kinda odd to compare them two. WoW you pretty much have to focus at all time while on RS you can just chill for the most part. I love both games though but never played them at the same time so to say.

 

I tried WOW back in the day, but it just wasn't for me. OSRS all the way

 

I play both WoW and OSRS, although i just started playing WoW when legion was released and i started playing OSRS about a year ago. I have a lot of friends which compare the two, and honestly i love both in many different ways. The only problem is i have such a short attention span that i can only do so much grinding on one game at a time, and lately i've been so caught up on RS that i've forgotten about WoW a little bit. I guess when i play OSRS, the grind feels so worth when i get a pet or a nice drop or really great rewards. I just feel super accomplished when i do things there than i do on WoW. But it's different for everyone i guess, both games suck you in for eternity imo lol. And you're never too old to game! They're both amazing games and the best part is you always make great friends from them

 

Id say runescape, before it went eoc. Was for sure the peak.

 

I think when it comes to any type of video game, any type of activity, anything that's meant for you to enjoy, that you should just
worry about what you enjoy most and what gives you the most fun experience. For me, it's RuneScape, for many other people it's
WoW and for many others it's a whole bunch of other games.

 

I played both and I prefer osrs over wow any day. I hate the constant gear grind in wow and the fact that gear matters more than skill, especially in pvp. The combat just doesn't seem fluid anymore because of the 1.5sec gcd and pve is just boring. In osrs I don't need membership to play the game, I have freedom of what I want to do (not only pvp or pve like in wow).

At it's current state, I'm sad to say that I agree with you :'(. It's not that WoW is 'garbage', but you do see a lot of justifiable complaints from the community who take this game seriously. I absolutely loved the BFA zones, leveling process, and Uldir progression (normies -> Heroic -> Mythic) but besides that, I don't have very many good things to say about the game anymore. It seems like no one really enjoys playing their class/spec anymore, and those that do are still stuck with the rest of the flaws in this expansion.

 

Time to move on to PvP buddy, only consistent content on the platform. Granted I’ve always been a PvP guy, but been leveling a lot of diff healers lately, queue’d arena as MW for the 1st time ever yday and it was a blast. Got 2.1k (duelist) during my 1st week of playing resto druid also
