wow im pissed off..............

I was pking while I was wearing items worth 2 mill when a noob started attacking me, so i thought this was an easy kill. then he started moving toward alkharid (i was outside castle). Then suddenly my screen went black and when i logged back in i was dead . Is there a way to make me glitch out or did he just get lucky

How can another player get someone else to glitch?

 

That black-whhite screen thing happens for me on pking too..
I dont know why, In normal worlds it never happens.

 

i think i figured it out, i did some research its called ddos (distrubited denial of service attack). there is a way for people to find your i.p and cut your connection or lag it somehow. Its highly illegal... lots of videos of people doing it,cant believe there risking a lot for pixels........ gonna laugh when they all get arrested. people use it to get credit cards and stuff. If they catch you i think you get arrested

 

You can't get credit cards and stuff from Ddos. You can only make them go offline.
And he must have gotten your IP somehow, if that's what happened.

 

ohh that was on wikipedia so i dont know. but i saw a program somone was advertising on youtube that auto ddos people. hope this doesnt happen again

 

DDos gets you internet off, black screen dosn't, it's not Ddos attack.

Sucks dude. 2M shouldn't be hard at all to make back. I hate getting lagged out, I have shitty internet so it happens frequently, therefore, I don't PK lol.

You also can't "auto-ddos" someone. DoS takes one computer, and it's just sending packets high in bytes to one computer, from one computer. You can do a small one without any large effects in the Windows command prompt. A DDoS is distributed across multiple computers, rather than having one to send the packets. Say one computer pinged another computer, non-stop, with... say, 1 megabyte. You must send the one megabyte, probably every 100ms. They must send it back to you, increasing their network use. Multiple computers doing that can disconnect your internet completely, although, nothing like that will make a black screen. There must be some object the client can't load in PVP servers, which causes a client crash - black screen.

but it involves hacking and i think to do it sometimes u need more than one computer. you have to infect like a couple of other computers. then use them all to ddos it. and spreading viruses and hacking is illegal.

 

What he did is that its a particular part in al-kharid that is realy BIG to load and this is a know strategy to target people who have said lag etc and drag them to border then when your loading its to big and your pc is to shitty or your internet is shitty so you lag and freeze.
