would you buy replica oakleys?

i know a guy who gets fake oakleys at a wholesale price, and i could sell them for likerally 10% of the price of real oakleys, with them looking the exact same(absolutely everyone whose seen them cant tell the difference). well, would anyone buy them? i dont wanna buy any from him and end up not being able to sell them. also, i couldnt find a market discussion section....if it is in the wrong section, just report my post and ill do it in the right section. thanks!


just for everyone wondering, i asked my friend what kinds i can get and he sent me this.



however, i would have to sell these for around 80$, still around 10% of the price considering the case, lenses, and frames.

 

I am sure there would be interest, you just can't try and pass them off as real as that is grounds for a ban.

 

I bought a cheap pair once, was chuffed to bits, until i read they were 'oakeys'. would still buy more though.

 

I probably would, after all, they are only sunglasses. Just make sure you specify in your thread that they are not real.

 

ya, no way im gonna try to pass them off as real, they do look EXTREMELY real though. they also come with a oakley case, everything, and i can sell em for under 30$. i just dont wanna drop 300$ on em and end up with a ton of pairs of sunglasses and nothing i can do with em.

 

Well, for only 10% off face value it's not worth buying. But you later said sell them for $30? If they look real enough I'd buy a pair for $30. Post pictures now if you can. I have a real pair, but there scratched.

 

i have a pair and they are perfect.. all of the oakley symbols are the same.. heck they even say made in the usa on them and i ordered them from china. i bought for 12 bucks.. i think the case they came in was worth that

 

no, i meant 10% of the original value. as in, a 200$ pair of oakleys, i can sell for 20$. but for the ones with the case+everything alse i would have to sell for 30$. anyways, ive gotten some decently positive feedback on this, so if anyone would like a pair leave me a comment and ill check with my friend and see if he can order some with those specs.

It would really depend on the style of the glasses for me. The ones in the picture aren't really my style. Are those the only ones you can get or are there other styles, lets say thicker white frames with black lenses?

 

I would never buy fake Oakleys personally. I have owned multiple real pairs, and bought multiple more lenses, and they are well worth the money. Also I could tell those are fake, because Oakley doesn't make any sunglasses that look like that.

But, I am sure there are lots of people out there who would buy some fake Oakleys, my brother for instance lol.

 

no,im sure i could get just about any size or style. just let me know before next tuesday, because thats when hes putting in an order for his sunglasses stand(thats how im getting them so cheap)
