Would this be against the rules... Mechanical auto-alcher

I was wondering if this was perfectly legitimate. Wouldn't be too hard to design a similar device with periodic motion.

 

It is against the rules if you leave your computer. Jagex has said that all players should be physically at their computer when training as a response to mechanical things. That being said, if you are at your computer then it should be fine because mods have commented on this sort of stuff before.

I'm not necessarily sure how Jaxex's "bot detection" program works, but I can assume they monitor the times between each "click" and if each click takes the same amount of time each time, I believe they can track that and that's grounds for a ban.

With that being said, this obviously is not a "bot" and you are sitting at your computer. I see no reason this falls under that category, just be careful. Good luck to you
