Would it be possible if we can get a notice for infractions?

This is a suggestion as well as feedback. I don't know where to post it so if its in the wrong section.

Let's get started....

I personally don't mind being infracted or banned for breaking the rules. I accept all consequences due to my actions rather, it's good or bad.

Ok to the topic of the thread. I was given a warning. I didn't know what the warning was for, it didn't give a reason and I received no PM. No problem with the warning as it was justified. My problem is I didn't understand why I was warned until I posted in the spam forum (just about the only forum I post in.) I made the thread as a joke, surprisingly a moderator posted a link to the post that caused my warning.

From there I didn't know asking an off topic comment like asking if the seller was allowed to sell the services is considered spamming. Anyways, I understand my warning and learnt from it, but if I would have never posted in the spam forum, I would have never know why and thus would have never learnt from it. I didn't even know the moderator who did it.

Anyways all I'm saying is can we get a little notification when we get warned and or infracted.

They just need to put in a message and you will get a PM.

 

Yeah, there already is a system. PM the mod who infracted you and ask for the reasoning behind it.

EDIT: Saw you already understood the reasoning. But to answer your question there is already a system.

 

Look at your profile sometimes bro. It's not that hard.

 

Stick to the rules and you don't need to worry..

 

As said above, no message was left, therefore no pm was sent. Pm the mod that warned you and you will get an explanation.

 

The mod who gave you the infraction must have forgotten to enter something in the PM box.
This was a little while ago, so it shouldn't happen again.

i've started sending messages with all of my infractions and the backlash isn't fun. but i guess it's best that you guys respond that way instead of going weeks without noticing
