Worried after runescape 1 day ban

Okay so yesterday I received a 24 hour ban on Runescape for Macro (Minor). I lost about 50 million gp and luckily did not get rolled back. I only botted once or twice and definatly won't be doing it again. So this is the question I have, In order to get banned again would jagex have to catch me botting again? Or can they just ban me when ever they want because I have cheated in the past? I don't feel like making more money and getting more levels only to find out I have been banned again. Also, how does Jagex tell the difference from a bot and somebody that just has been doing one particular skill for a long time?

 

this is a pre warning so in other words if you do it again your perm banned feel lucky you got a 1 day ban ive been banned perm right away over 6 accounts

 

What beeson said. It is just a warning. They will not just ban you afterwards just because they feel like it, but if you continue botting and get caught again they have the right to take further action.

 

wow damn, i also got a 1 day ban, nothing of my wealth was removed, still have my 300m i botted the last time

 

pre warning and if u get caught 1 more time ull get perm banned :/

 

People have pretty much covered it, if you stop breaking rules they won't take any further action against you. Actually, this is exactly why they do it the way that they do..they're hoping that someone that bots once or twice gets caught and a slap on the wrist and a final warning is enough to ensure that you don't do it again.
