World ending in May 2011?

A lot of people believe something will happen near the end of 2012 but there's no way to predict the future it's a mystery. Don't live in a state of fear.

it will happen when it happens, all i think about is its not only me, im not leaving behind any1 that will usffer from my passing. its everyone, its a thing that will happen , we cant stop it so why worry..? you aint gona miss anything when its passed.

 

2011 and 2012 theories are not related.
2011 only works on you if you are a christian, as it has to do with God, so atheists won't fall for it.

This is the "proof" that the world would be ending on May 2011.

Why did I highlighted "is said"? Because it IS SAID that Christ was hung that day. But what if it wasn't? just wrong.

About 2012, there are lots of theories.
"OMG A HUGE ASS PLANET IS COMING HIT THE EARTH ON 2012". It is said that the planet known as "Planet X" is going to come on 2012 to destroy the earth. If this was true, we could be able to see the planet in the sky by now, because it is said to be REALLY huge.

"NASA AND GOVERNMENT ARE HIDING THAT A HUGE STEROID IS GOING TO KILL US ALL TO AVOID MASS PANIC". This just couldn't be truth. There would have been leaks already, I mean, this would be a very huge discovery.

"MAYAN CALENDAR ENDS IN 2012, THEY WERE VERY SMART IN ASTRONOMY, SO THIS MEANS THE WORLD IS ENDING".

"OMG EARTH'S POLE MAGNETIC SHIFT REVERSAL BCUZ OF PLANETS ALIGNMENT"

If this would actually be happening, it would be a REALLY slow death.

They have been "foreseeing" the end of the world like 50 times now, and they just keep pushing the date when they're wrong.

As I said before, they did that calendar to mark the day of the winter solstice. It would have been a very important day from them. Some idiots just interprate it is as if it would be the end of the world. And it isnt incomplete, because the calendar is something like a wheel, and therr are no blank spaces on it. All the movies you see about 2012 are just to scare you off. What is behind 2012 then? Mass profit.

I do not believe any of these. As for 2012, the Mayans predicted it, where are they now? Exactly.

I personally believe that it is an attempt for humanity to make sense of things that we will probably never understand.

 

I've never heard of the may 2011 date; but it seems as if people usually predict we're going to die every 6 years. 1994 from your op, several people thought the world would end at year 2000, several people thought the world would end in 2006 on 6/6/06, and now people think the world will end in 2012.

I'm calling it now; the world is ending in 2018.

 

The world already screwed up in the year 2000...
The world will screw up for many years to come.

Once 2012 passes, it'll screw up in 2015, then 2020, then 2022, then hey presto a meteor will be on a collision course with Earth. (The last one is the only legitimate one)

All jokes aside, I'd have to say that I just can't believe any of these world-ending predictions. Really, first the year 2000, then 6/6/6/, and now 2012? Highly unlikely. The only way the Earth will end is from the depletion of all of Earth's resources or a massive Meteor. Both are bound to happen some time in the future, but the question is when.

 

Actually there are still Mayans in the Yucatan Peninsula, and other parts of southeastern Mexico, altough, they are normal people, they are not as "wise" as the ones that lived in 1400s.
