Hi,

I'm posting in regards to this report I made: Won_gold scammed me


Yes, I'll agree that the skype is an imposter skype. I see that now. Normally I am very cautious of this. However, the PM I got from Won was very real.

At 8:55PM Won pm'd me on sythe.
At 8:56PM The skype message was sent: Gyazo - 866f9d4e873e766f92501c3c4b5811c5.png

That's extremely coincidental. I have enough proof here to show you that won was working with whoever was skype "Won_gold_gold". In the video I can show you that the sythe pm and skype message happened within seconds of each other.

Is there any other information I can provide to you to show you that this was the same person?

In the video it also shows that I don't have the real won gold added on skype so how did he know to pm me? I do believe I have a solid case here, please help me.

It's called a man in the middle scam. A user makes a fake skype of a trader and talks to you. Should you ask for a PM, he creates a fake skype that is similar to yours and talks to the real trader. He then requests the trader to send a PM to you. Once the PM he sent, he relays that to you once it is sent. This is why you need to be very careful when receiving PMs and making sure it'd 100% accurate info. Sorry for your loss.
