- Detailed description of the events that took place and why you think we should forgive you: This ban involves two different types of offenses which occurred at different times so I think the best way to explain the story would be in chronological order.

I'll start at Summer 2013 (I'm not entirely sure of the exact month/date but it was definitely in this period and I can dig up extra proof etc if needed) A friend of mine introduces me to Harleigh and after a decent amount of chatting I offer to sell her my blue partyhat for 4.1B. Harleigh claims to only want to spend 4B at the time but would still like to buy my hat, and I don't see why I can't trust her with ~100M at the time, so I agree to loan her 100M. The next time I login I try PM'ing her asking how staking is going, and I get no responses, I go to check the duel arena and she is staking and ignoring my messages. After enough pestering she finally responds to me and tells me that I'm never seeing that 100M again. This greatly upset me because not only did I get scammed by someone who I would consider a new friend of mine but also money was hard at the time and 100M took me a while to make back.

A few days/weeks down the line I speak with my friend/acquaintance "gangz" on teamspeak, we had known each other since fall/winter 2012 through flowering and spoke sometimes on a teamspeak that I was linked to by a mutual friend of mine and his. He saw that I got scammed and said he felt bad for me, etc, and says that if he cleans her / ddoses her that he will help me out. I honestly don't recall if he actually said that he was going to ddos her or not, but I do remember him saying something along the lines of what I explained previously. Time inevitably passes, I'm standing at the duel arena one day and gangz runs up to me ingame and tells me to come on teamspeak and sends me a trade offer for 100m. I join the teamspeak and he tells me that he succeeded and that the 100m is to reimburse me because of the scam that she pulled. I happily accepted the money, thanked him, and that was the end of it.

Fast forward a few months to my join of Sythe in October, when reading the rules/discovering the forums I never thought about the previous situation, however down the line it definitely crossed my mind. I thought that if someone scammed you that you had every right to take it back regardless of the means. I definitely had a flawed concept of justice back then, and I will admit that I was selfish.

In December 2014 I made a report on Harleigh because I had realized that she was becoming successful on Sythe and I didn't enjoy the fact that someone who scammed me could simply evade their past. https://i.imgur.com/4osWJDh.png - This screenshot shows that I mentioned to Harleigh that I was never split in the stake, this was definitely a vocabulary technicality as I did in fact receive compensation from gangz after the stake. In my mind it didn't seem like I had something to lose if gangz failed or his booter didn't work as all the money he put up versus harleigh was his so therefore it didn't exactly seem like the stake was split (by my definition) so I didn't think twice to make a report and claim the 100M that Harleigh initially scammed me for.

I genuinely thought his comment about the 100M was a joke, he had shown no express effort to contact me about it and he didn't ever bring it up again even though I contacted him about an account in June. I had no idea that he was actually serious until our argument/convo this September.

Gyazo - 5f7199a87637da9c61399b78016ecf7a.png - Here is proof that the reason that he didn't want to add my skype or talk to me in February was because he thought I talked to scammers/ddosers, namely C4/Channel 4. In this part of our conversation he explicitly states that he based the accusation (which he also brought up in his reply to my dispute) of me being associated/scam partners with C4 solely based off of the fact that I talk to another runescape player who just happens to be friends with him. Later in our conversation he does accept the possibility that his accusation could have been inaccurate.

All I can say about this is that hearing some retard who trolls all the time in teamspeak laughing on and on about how he got some name and poking everyone that he wanted to sell it is not incriminating proof nor something that I can actually use to make a valid report with. Because of this I explained to him that I would not have any intentions of helping him even if the evidence that I did have could somehow condemn another user because there were other reports than that one and I was fairly sure that he was scamming/attempting to scam in one way or another.

- This is the complete story of the incriminating events that lead to my ban told from my perspective. Lots of the things I've mentioned in my pardon are not acceptable for Sythe members to be involved in/participate in, I completely understand that. However I don't think it would be a good idea to walk out on my chance to explain everything and hope for the best, that's what I'm doing here. I can honestly say that I did try to avoid my past and didn't think much of what I did back then, but in retrospect it would have been a better thing for me to confess willingly than to be named and shamed and then have to go through this process. However, I'm not going to live with regret, if I don't belong here because of my previous wrongdoings then so be it. I'm not going to hustle my skype contact list for some quick cash and hope they don't realize I'm banned. As soon as I was banned I let anyone who contacted me in the last day or two that I was banned and I understood if they didn't want to do business with me anymore, I also informed Bogla about this incident and explained that if he needed to take anything away from me that he could. He removed my access to the administration section of boglagold & tokenbets as well as my access to his paypal account. I could have easily ran out with tens of thousands of Bogla's alone, but regardless of my ban and the possibility that I will never be able to roam Sythe again I will not steal from anyone.

If I'm not pardoned or even vetoed instantly, I fully accept it. I've had a wonderful two years here and I would hate to see it go but if it needs to remain in the past, then let it be.

Here's my input -

I don't think Wolf is a scammer, furthermore I'm almost confident enough to say that even if he were unbanned this second or not unbanned for the matter I'd probably trust him with a generous amount of money.

That being said, it upsets me that this came out against an OMM and I feel some punishment should be given for this. Maybe losing the rank itself is punishment enough but I want to leave that up for the rest of staff.

If you're asking for my input on whether or not I trust Wolf, the answer is simple, I do trust him a lot. However, it really upsets me how he handled this situation, it was extremely stupid of him and some of the stories have some inconsistencies. Wolf I warned you early to stay away from crap like this because it would bite you in the ass...

 

In regards to my above post, it's not a support or a no support, you have 4/5 supports at the given moment and I'm fairly certain this will makes it's way to USL.

You've gotten yourself in a really sticky situation, let this be a lesson on associating yourself with someone like zgangz. Although you probably didn't know he was into that kind of stuff back then.

I really want to support your pardon wolf, but this is the only part bugging me. Maybe you knew what he meant by succeeded, that he ddosed her. Maybe you didn't. You don't remember yourself. Did you keep in touch with zgangz after that? Were you aware he was into that sort of activity back then?
