Witch programming language is best?

Witch programming language is best?
There is no best, especially since SCAR is in essence a programming language, the programmer decides whether the bot is good or not. And no offense to any SCAR programmers who read this but SCAR is much less powerful than someone knowledgeable in a real programming language (Real is being loosely used here. If you have a better word that I could use I'd be happy to use it. I do not mean to say SCAR is a bad or fake language, its simple not as powerful as certain other ones. It is nice and easy to create bots in though)
SCAR is a script made in Delphi.

In other words, you are essentially coding a limited version of Pascal.

Witch programming language is best?
Yes, but scar has runscape functions so you can learn from them and make very nice macros with delphi or pascal. So i think it would be wise to learn pascal basics, then make some scar macros and then you could proceed with advanced pascal macros. Am I wrong?

No, your not wrong, and SCAR is a very viable way of creating bots. I'm just saying if you wanted to really think out of the box or your presented with an autoing challenge that hasn't been commonly surpassed yet, your gonna run into a wall.

For example, my FindColorClusters function will find groups of pixels sharing the same color that are touching each other, and then return a large amount of information on them. I do not believe that could have been made in SCAR. I made it in C++, which I like for autoing functions because most of what they are is just loops comparing pixels and finding patterns or w/e. I've also created a function that can be used like
Code:
CompareColorsEx (Color1, Color2, _R < 5 || _H < 10)
Which would return true if the difference in Red is less than 5 and the difference in Hue is less than 10 (If you didn't catch the significance of what this function is, your passing an expression and the function is saving that expression and then evaluating it after it has gathered the necassary data). I bet you couldn't do that in SCAR either.

So SCAR is good for autoing things quickly, and oftentimes very efficiently and well, but I like having as much power and control as I possibly can over my programs (If I can), and it allows me to do things that many cannot.

ACTUALLY, fools, ASM is the best because it is the fastest, and the most powerful.

ASM is also the simplest. I suggest you look into it!

EDIT: serious now,

I think that the language used should be determined by what it is to be used for. Sure C++ can do all the things the higher level languages can do, but sometimes, the added complexity isn't worth the added power and speed. So, i think the best way to go would be something that is simple, because you are a beginner, and something that has pre-made functions for things such as finding colors, interfacing with things etc. A pre-made bot like scar or ibot, woould be the best because they both are specialized to do exactly what you want. Trust me, i have tried to make macros in c++ when i was just starting, i think the most i was able to do was move the mouse around.

I would have to suggest Java, just because I program in it even if you don't want it. Its multiplatform which is very nice, so pretty much everyone can use it. o.O

Were you trying to be funny?

I bet you mean "the added complexity" is the coding structure. It isn't hard to get used to. The API calls are generally the same in C++ as other languages (apart from those that use a framework), as you are using the same functions from the same DLLs.

Unless you're using custom libraries/SDKs, like GTK+, Qt, MFC, DirectX, wxWidgets, etc...

I would recommend looking into VB6/VB.Net if you really want to make your own autos/macros only because they are simple enough to pickup for that task and can accomplish it reasonably well.

It would take far too long in my opinion for you to get to that point in Java/C/C++ just to make Runescape macros.

Incorrect, Java's built in robot library can help you get started writing macros in minutes.

I'd recommend java for platform design and php for back end web design and C++ as another great back end platform design language.

C++ with wxWidgets.

wxWidget's library has similar API's to .Net and Java. Very easy to pick up if you have prior C++ and Java/.Net knowledge.

Let's just say that if you know C++ you know a lot of things buddy, and you will have a good fucking paying job in the future. Stick to C++ buddy, fuck runescape think for the future lol.

.Net programmers are fairly well paid, why shouldn't he get a job with .Net instead?

C++ is probably my favourite language, however I use .Net more.
