I recently had windows media 9.
I never used it - but now im starting to use it more and more often - I wanted to go to 10, cos i just hate 11.
By accident I downloaded 11 -.-' and i went through control panel , add and remove to rollback... So I went and got myself the meida10 install.
I try to install and this bullshit comes up -.-
Some help would be greatly appreciated.
I used google - :
Thing is - there is no service pack files folder.
And I dont know where my CD is either....

It's getting narrowed down! Currently it appears that wmploc.dll in C:\Windows\System32 is the file causing hell for some users while trying to WMP 10. The solution might be rather simple, navigate to C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386 and copy wmploc.dll to C:\Windows\System32. Now, run the WMP 10 installer again and see what you get.
