    Windows 7 SP1 Issue

    Recently purchased a new computer.
    GTX 1080 8GB
    i7-5820K
    16GB DDR4 RAM

    The Issue:
I have a copy of Windows 7 Pro and it has worked beautifully multiple times. Then I tried to install it on my new computer. Windows 7 works fine but it doesn't have SP1 and everytime I try to install it or look for updates it just says searching for updates for hours. I left it searching for updates for over 18 hours and still nothing. I have looked everywhere on the internet but nothing has fixed it. Why has it not given me SP1 on the install like the other computers I have installed it on?? Thanks to anyone who helps :D

You can also download major updates directly from Microsoft's website. I know this is a given, but make sure that you don't already have SP1 installed.
