Personally I would choose windows 7. based on my own un-researched opinions to do with drivers and alike for games.

Thanks for the input I like windows 7 and think windows 8 has a lot of extra stuff added that are not necessary but didn't know if made any difference with games performance.

Windows 8 sucks as is. BUT it is proven to be faster than windows 7, and better optimized for hardware. If you buy WI does 8, install "classic shell", and you'll find that it is exactly what you remember in windows 7. You'll forget you're even using Windows 8. It can even bypass the metro screen. I'm very happy with windows 8 & classic shell. Hated it without...

Also its proven to post better fps while gaming. I think tomshardware did the comparison

Windows 7 is pretty good but Windows 8 has better FPS on games.

Think I'll try 8.1 even tho I hate the interface I read some reviews and it's suppose to be a faster os if I end up not standing it I'll buy another win7 key

Even though Windows 7 is alot more simpler. Windows 8.1 is preferred as it's the most dated OS. Aswell as most apps, games etc run better on Windows 8/8.1

Your pick though. Once you have Windows 8.1 for a while. You get used to it.

Windows 7 if you don't like change. Windows 8.1 if you want better performance and security.

I have tried windows 7 and windows 8 and I prefer windows 7 because it's easier to use and like the design (Win7 has more performance for me)

Tried window 8 interface blows and I ended up getting rid of it for win 7 and I seem to get higher fps with win 7

I like windows 8 more, it may have strange new interface and stuff but hey stuff changes.. I mean if you don't use start, you can't almost tell difference. I have better gaming performance and stuff on windows 8 so that's one more reason I prefer it over windows 7.
