Do you miss highschool?

In my senior year right now and it seems quite surreal that this is my last year. I know I'm not going to miss school itself, but there are some people who you don't consider good friends and you only see them at school but it's still nice to see them and it seems strange that after graduation odds are you won't ever see some of those people again.

 

I miss the lack of responsibility and the naive worldview I had in highschool. Simpler times, you know? Enjoy it while it lasts my friend.

When I was working, and on my down days, I reminisced about high school. It was so easy, I'd tell myself. Got to socialise and see my buddies everyday! But, I don't miss the reliance on parents, so to speak. Being an individual now who has no reliance on anyone else is something worth exchanging for.

 

Not remotely.

I graduated high school two years early to get out and move on.

 

Highschool is easier and had a lot more banter involved. I often feel old just reminiscing about being there. But there was a lof of shit that you don't get in college/a workplace to the same extent so in some ways I'm happier it's in the past.

 

I don't miss it at all.
My life is far past that.

 

I miss hanging out with friends more often, but definitely don't miss school.

 

High school was like an incredibly boring job where you filled out paperwork that you didn't get paid for. I really enjoyed high school athletics though. Playing soccer & doing track/XC was extremely fun, and I appreciate having done it even more as I get older and athletics becomes more of a luxury.

 

Yeah im with Ghast on this one. Miss the people more than the school itself.

These... Although I love my job irl atm, and love the fact i'm getting myself a degree to hopefully proceed further in life. I wouldn't go back if I could.

 

No. I always hated schooling and I'm so happy that I never have to go back.

 

I hated school itself, but I do miss seeing my friends everyday. It's odd going from seeing my friends each day to once every few months. Everyone in highschool were also so immature and a lot of stupid things happened but I liked the parties.

 

I miss some aspects of it. Other than that, college is way better bro (besides the fact that you actually need to study to pass your classes now).

As with most of the people here, I miss the people, the good times, and the lack of responsibility. Growing up has its perks, but the responsibilities that come with it sucks.

 

I was surprised at who I stayed friends with and who I didn't. Some people who you thought were your best buds are just gone from your life almost immediately after graduation. It's been 4-5 years for me now, and a couple of them have kids n shit. It's a weird feeling, like adulthood was sort of sprung on your out of nowhere. If you're asking if I miss my childhood, then hell yeah. My highschool experience was a lot better than most peoples'.

University brings more freedom and more people though, and I feel like the people I've met will be with me after graduation as opposed to how it was in highschool. We'll see, I'm nervous to get into the real world after school's done.

 

So much. I wish I was in High School all over again. Wait until University... its miserable.

 

I grew up a lot when I got out of highschool. I miss the naivety and the lack of responsibility. Not the social awkwardness ahha
