Will santa go up to max cash?

After seeing this thread, I legitimately just bought 15 santa hats @ 335m each. not kidding.

 

That's not how market economics works at all. Just because it rose at a positive trend of 150m in 3 months does not mean the trend will continue at all. It could remain positive, but 50m a month? I don't think so. You gotta realize there'll be a flux of supply and demand for them. I'd personally sit on any you currently have until Xmas 2016 and sell them then, don't hold for too long. I actually wouldn't buy any right now, there's a chance they're being manipulated and the price will crash.

 

There are a TON of Santa Hats, as they were the last tradeable wearable holiday rare released.

The reason rares are going up is because there are no new players, and over half the people playing are maxed.

 

Exactly what I meant by I doubt it will go that high that quick. I have had hundreds of santas at one point and I'm not even that rich. There is just way too many in the game. Black santa on the other hand I could see rise.

this is not going to happen any time soon. Rares are rising but many people think (especially in the disc. item status) that the prices are maniped. I have been out of the game for about a year and i am pretty surprised at phat prices. I sold mine for around 3B and had made an 800M profit, in a year. 1 year after this the white is at 8+B. A clear manipulation in my opinion, as it's not like gold has gone down that much. The phat will now get a lot more $$ wise than when i sold it.

However santas have also been pretty drastic, like a 33% increase? even then the number is very small, so it won't happen for a long long time.

 

I'm hearing a lot of rumours going around about price manipulation as well. Apparently just a few massive players maniping harrrrrrrd in the p hat market. Could be a similar story with all other rares too.

 

Santas are crap anyways. I'd be investing in blacks though, they always rising.

i have 9 santas stuck somewhere on an f2p pure, with a stupid name, been trying to remember the account for years but no luck.

more people are getting banned with rares,
so eventually i think they will reach 1b. not sure about max cash though
