Well, most people know me as a gold seller here on Sythe. Originally though, I simply played Runescape for fun as a merchant. I made about 5 Party Hat sets through in-game merchanting (buying / selling Rares), and sold some gp off my account every now and again. Eventually my character did get banned, for trading an old buddy named Duke Freedom on RS (sold him 200M).

Although Duke got me banned, he also referred me to Sythe.org to sell my remaining GP I had on a mule (about 80M or so). I came here, and right away it seemed like home to me on the markets. I set up shop and began selling what I had left. I actually ended up getting Paypal scammed for most of it by a guy named Tarchy, but I did sell it to a few other people and got some good feedback. People continued to want my GP for $5.00/M once I had sold out, so I looked around to see if maybe I could find some at a cheaper price.

I realized that at the time, people sold GP a lot cheaper if you had eGold (back before eGold had all its legal problems, it was the most coveted currency by far on Sythe). So, I took the money from my original mills and deposited all onto eGold. Quite quickly I found a guy named Tradermate here on Sythe who was my first supplier He sold GP at nice prices to me since I was buying it in bulk via eGold, and I began reselling it on my thread. People flocked to my shop because at the time there was really no one else with a solid background here. Within a few months I was solidified as the top seller on the site.

Eventually my GP shop got me noticed by staff, and in 2007 (same year I joined Sythe) I was made Market Moderator. Seeing that I was heavily involved in the markets, I was pretty good at catching scammers before they scammed. My theory is that if you can catch a scammer BEFORE they rip someone off, you prevent a lot of people from having a bad experience on Sythe. It's better to be active than reactive when taking out scams.

Over time I have continued to sell GP, despite the changes this new year and new competition that flows into the Selling area of the Gold/Item. I've estimated my total sales to be well past 30 Billion GP at this point. This year I launched my site at R2Pleasent.com. As many of you know it was designed by TDD from Sythe, and I'm very gracious for the great job he did on it.

As far as information about myself, I'm a 20 year old guy from Canada. I'm at university in my hometown, Ottawa, this year. I have a girlfriend who I've been with for well over 2 years now. She's now in university which is about an hour out of town, so I'm doing a lot of driving back and forth this year.

My friends would describe me as a pretty outgoing, funny guy with a job they still don't understand It's also pretty much a given that if I'm at a party I will be freestyle battling at some point. Nearly every weekend I'm out with my friends, and during the week I'm filling orders / doing schoolwork. That's about it for now, but I'll update this as I go.

R2 you say your total sales was like 30 bil, how much profit in cash have you made?

 

Well he buys a max of like $2, and sells @ $5, so 3 * 30k =$90k

 

You can live a decent life from selling/buying RS gold?

 

Enough to buy a car and more.
