Will my laptop overheat?

I've left my laptop on overnigt botting, I run only 1 account and it's usually running Paradigm's ProDungeon. I've read several threads saying botting on a laptop will kill it, but I've been botting on it for about 3 months, I've botted overnight about 15 times on it and checked the cpu temp and it was only 38 celsius.... The only thing that gets hot is the charger, the laptop stays coolish and warm because it's on a hardwood table with stone tiles...

 

You're only botting 1 account, it should definitely be fine it won't kill it unless there's 3+ running. Try to place your charger somewhere cool or even next to a window, that WILL fry if you keep botting over night.

As long as you allow proper ventilation and place the laptop in a cool room, your laptop shouldn't overheat. Judging by your CPU temperature, I don't see any reason to worry.

You might want to keep the adapter on some sort of cold surface though, because mine died when I ran it 24/7 during the summer days.

 

I do the same thing, just raise the back of your laptop onto a book or something stable so there is room for a lot of air to come underneath the laptop. Then make sure you have your battery taken out but still keep your computer plugged in (other wise it will not turn on) But other wise thats it, Have fun botting!

 

Yes I keep the charger on my linoleum floor and it's very cool

 

Easiest thing I've found is to put my laptop on an open shoe box a little askew. Perfectly stable and I can get up in the morning and the air coming from the fans is still room temperature.

This is with 2 bots running.

I've left my old Toshiba laptop running for 4 days before running two bots. RS2Cheatings auto fighter, and Reines original STS bot for RSC.
