Will league become more fun?

This is just one of the many things which have popped up on /r/leagueoflegends lately regarding "toxic" players and such.

Some of the things they are trying out sound great to me, I've barely played league in the past 2 months or so, one of the reasons being due to the amount of people I see in games (whether it is aimed at me or not) purposefully making other players feel bad just because they're not playing very well etc.

I've been playing a lot of OSRS since I haven't played LoL as much and it's so much more of a chilled out game, I very rarely see people swearing at each other and getting angry (maybe I'm just lucky). But honestly, if they put these systems in place I may start playing LoL a bit more because I would honestly enjoy it a lot more.

What are all of your thoughts on stuff like this, I really do think it's a big step forward.

As a previously avid player, I experienced this almost every game. Its pretty cutthroat. This high stress environment has actually led me to quit playing league (a game I used to love) at least competitively/seriously.

I do think they are making steps to solving this issue though. For example, the introduction of new "casual" formats and suggestions such as the one in the tweet. They're moving in the right direction.

I agree with everything you say. I'm glad that I may get to play it again without people trying to make me feel bad (Never really worked, just made me annoyed).

Don't get me wrong. I still love watching League on Twitch but playing it is almost unbareable at times.

Lol, I doubt this will ever happen. But when people flame it really does make you negative and want to feed. OT: This is pretty useful. Pings help alot in game so yeah. I support this +1

This is pretty neat but I wish they would just release U.R.F mode again. PERMANENTLY!
It was the best stress reliever ever. Even with all the noobs crying about certain champions not being banned, it was all worth it!!
