will jagex do a rollback -->

Last night i was on my account and everything was going fine. But today at around 3:00pm i tried to login to Runescape and it said someone is currently logged in and stayed that way for an hour. Then when i could finally log in the guy was at the red portal and everything was gone , all friends removed, everything.



Will jagex do a rollback if they see that another ip address has recently accessed my account, and that items were dropped, and that i was trying to connect while the "hacker" was connected?

 

Sadly I doubt they will they will just tell you some bs about keeping your account secure and all that

 

No. Jagex doesn't really care about this kind of thing. They'd just tell you to activate JAG and set recoveries and a pin.

Chessy had over 1k santas and many other rares. His/her account was compromised and the hijacker stole everything. Chessy didn't get back anything.

do you know u got hacked? maybe you are infracted? i would do a system check
for trojans/malwares etc if i were you

Nope, Jagex doesn't care about this stuff the only company that restores in game items is Blizzard.

 

Jagex is probably the worst when it comes to hacking. They dont give a shit what happens and wont take responsibilities for anything.

No they won't. I remember seeing them post on forums about this saying that it is the player's responsibility to keep their account & items safe.

 

No, items loses are unrefundable, it was only YOUR fault of that someone else had access to your Jagex Account

To be fair to Jagex, everyone would abuse the hell out of it if they did. For example I could just call up a friend or cousin who lives in another state, tell them to take some partyhats off my account, and claim I was hacked.

 

It's just not a practical solution for Jagex so it'll never happen.
