Will I regret doing this...?

So I was cleaning up my room today and came across a black-light that I got a long, long time ago.

Afterward, I got to thinking about some black-light posters I saw at the mall yesterday. I thought about how cool they would look in lit up room.

Then the idea crossed my mind. I want to turn my room into a trippy room where people can come in and chill, trip balls, etc.

I went as far as looking up some different things on YouTube and found a few examples of what I'm talking about.

I've already talked my mom into this idea as I would have to paint the room black as well. And it's going to cost another good $100-$200 for the shit I plan on buying (Posters, strobe light, pink bulbs/blacklight bulbs)

Will I regret this?

 

Have you thought of the fact that stuff will be stolen easily from your house?

 

If you party alot than you wont regret it, trust me

 

dude you dont usually bring people to a party who steal...and if they have the balls to steal im pretty sure he can handle it

I'll usually have a group of maybe 5 or so people in here at one time.

We take our parties to the back-roads in this town.

 

Well besides from the price I really don't think you will.
My game room in my house has 4 black bulbs and a "lazzzer machine"
for all my friends who like techno.I don't know if you would want your room like that.But if you regret you can always take the junk away.

 

Hell yeah man, that room would be awesome. You seem like someone from my town, small ass town gotta go to the back roads and up the mountains to party haha

 

Yeah, I'm just afraid I'll get tired of it too soon and be out quite a sum of money. And then I'm stuck with a black room because there isn't really any alternatives to darkening the room.

This is kind of like a "Once you go black(light), you don't go back" so I need to make a decision pretty soon.

Hell yeah, and the cops don't even bother coming that way. xD

 

Just keep your ceiling lights normal bulbs (if you have one)

 

Well, my old acquaintance Mariah had a room like that, and it was pretty chill. Just make sure you have regular soft lighting for typical times. If you're like me and spend most of your time in solitude, a room like that is fine, even if no one else is around. When smoking, it's even better .

Also a good movie watching environment, and toking environment...

I'll take a picture of my current room either later tonight or tomorrow so you all have a basic idea of what I'm working with. I might need help shopping around for supplies/necessities (I'm buying most of this stuff online).

Whether or not you would regret it though depends on your lifestyle, do you party or just have a few friends over?

 

this, all the way. the room in the video would be awesome, but without regular lighting, you'll sometimes get sick of the vibe, or at least, i would.

do it, i would do something epic like this, but as i'm moving out in a year, it's not really worth it

 

There is not much point in asking members of a forum that is based around Runescape cheating that question, hardly anyone has black-lights...


It really depends on your personal taste if you will regret it or not.

 

Do it, make sure you have an alternate lighting source, so you don't get too sick of black lights too soon. Keep us updated please I really wanna see how this turns out
