well im just wondering if deleting my C: drive will mess up my computer in any way.
i can also swap my D: drive to a system drive.

Thanks.

yep, im serious lol, my Os is installed on drive d, but all of the boot files are on drive C:, im wondering if i remove my drive C and do fixboot, and fixmbr, if everyhting will work fine?

Do that shit, move your boot files that are on C over to D, and make sure it's configured correctly in boot.ini, and yeah your fine.

No it wont harm it at all, i also recommend breaking your OS disc, and then deleting your OS.

This will cause the computer to go into super mode, which is a node of the fucked network.

Good luck.

Do you dual boot to your current drive on /D: or do you just boot straight to the D:/ Drive and there is no OS on your HD? It depends, some OSs such as Ubuntu in some cases (Unstable Version did this) had save the PFs to the C: drive instead of my I: (Disc Drive) even though it was supposedly supposed to save straight to my disc. Check what's in there first, if there are any files that you know you use on the OS you are running off the D: drive, maybe you shouldn't.

i had it dual booting for a while, but i removed the dual boot, my main os used to be on drive c: and all of the boot files are located there, im on windows xp pro.

and thanks pyro i think i got it all to work now, at least my computer started :P

You will need to keep all the necessary drivers and change your boot configuration. Just copy them all to D: and fdisk C:
