Will apple release a gaming console?

Well i was just thinking. i mean Microsoft has and apple has some great hardware who here thinks they will venture into the console market in the near OR distant future ? Personally i think they will but yeah what do you guys think and how do you think it would compare to say PS3 or xbox360 if they did ?

and if they did make a console i doubt it would be able to compete with the consoles out now, because Sony Nintendo and M$ have been making gaming consoles a lot longer than apple, and oh my good god could you imagine some programmers trying to code a game for an apple product

 

There would be 1 button and it would be to small to press having to use a pin. You would also be in danger of swallowing the console accidentley and can only purchase games through igames which would also now come with fucking itunes as well as fucking quicktime.

We'd also have bullshit commercials of people dancing around an orange light and people saying "OMFG it's so easy, you like press the button and it plays the game!1!1!11!!"

It would also encourage people to never shut the fuck up.

 

they already made a gaming system if u count ipod as a handheld game. or if ur retarted enough to use a mac for gaming... it would probaly be too small... like 2in. X 5in. and it connects to the net and uses itunes. so u have have ur pc, tv, iwhatever-they-call-the-game all beside u. just to be able to play it. if ppl were smart theyd buy 1 pc from ibuypower.com and put emulators on it. i said ibuypower.com cuz they make a really small pc. it can fit under ut table and has a cd rom and floppy drive. just hook that up to ur tv and play games like that. much cheaper then $25000 for a ps3.

 

if they do it'll probably be extremely overpriced... they probably will, it seems like they're trying to make every possible electronic device... tv, computer, mp3 player, phone, etc...

I doubt it.. microsoft already dominates the video game and computer industry.. I think the apple would have to be different.. arent they always? and it would have some shitty ass controller or some turn off.

 

Apple is stupid...even if they do get in the game market, they'll sell like nothing, their ideas just don't fit well into the gaming world.
