Why wouldn't Jagex ...?

Why jagex would make 2006 scape abd the majority of the players now will go to it and ruin there actual game...

 

As I saw someone say, it could potentionally make them money but they might be afraid they'd be running that server for bigger reasons than their up-to-date version. RSC is to bring you back to the old days, I don't see any need at all to make a 2006scape. People have to accept change, it happens irl and virtually. Not that big of a deal. It happens. People are just stubborn and say they hate certain things about the game just because it's new and not 2006scape. They don't even give it a try, and if they do, it's not with an open mind.

 

I have enjoyed reading everyone's different views so far, I won't comment on each individually. Maybe some of us are "stuck in the nostalgia" .. but damn where those day's good. At the end of the day, there is no reason why Jagex couldn't do this (or something similar) but everyone could argue all day at every little point. It's just been sad to see a game loved so much by so many get ripped a part from how we loved it.

Could argue all day at every little point? You are saying there's not a reason Jagex could bring back an older version of their game, I gave you a point, and you simply ignored it.

If you're going to debate anything, you're going to argue the "finer" points, because nothing every is simply black-and-white.

People are to close minded for the game, if they don't like it then don't plat it. It's not exactly difficult, get another hobby, play another game, do whatever.

As the signature slightly above me says, "People complaining about EOC is more annoying than EOC itself." It's pathetically true, stop bitching and move on. EOC came out nearly 3 months ago, it's not going back (while it indeed may change such as the recent update as shown.)

It's true, I hadn't touched RS in a long-ass time (besides botting which brought in a decent amount of $) and I decided to give it a chance after EOC. It's like a completely different game, and that's the reason I will actually go bossing and such now. I lost interest in "old" RS, and EOC brought in a new era of Runescape. How long will that era last? That I'm not sure.
