why were religons made?

Ok thank you wll now what I believe is tht a man named Jesus did infact exist but whether or not he had powers is up to someone else.
But he was the one who started the christian religion based of of the folkloe of earlier religions plus opium was legal back then so maybe some people had poppy seed bread ^ ^ just a theory anyways he basically gathered folllowers lieka ult would and thus a new religion was formed and if you look far enough back in time you can see history repeats itself.

 

As am I, what I am saying is that it is intended to be an answer for the followers and creator of that particular religion.

 

i think they were made because people were scared of dying so theyre just like "yah... ull go to this place called heaven... ull get WHATEVER u want" lol so they were just like yeah ok thats about right, then stopped freaking out

 

They were created to explain the unknown. They were exploited as a means of staying in power, and used to keep the masses in check.

 

Not to mention an excuse to mollest little boys.
