Why was I banned?

I'm not sure If im posting this in right place but I think I am. I don't have a clue why I was banned. I was in my favorite server, 208.63.88.68, playing on my account tidus68, then I let my friend play while I took a shower, got out, he was gone, and I couldn't log in? does this mean I am banned? because it say's "No response from server, please try again" does this mean I'm banned? why did I get banned? I didn't do anything wrong before I logged off. When I tried to log in I couldn't get in and my I asked another friend of mines that plays on this server he said that I must be banned. Please help this my favorite server I don't wanna be banned from it.:'(
