Why is this game so bad now

its true about the players, it used to be much more mature people and it was awesome when you could just go deep wildy with a couple of friends and have fun pking together. Even back then skilling was semi-fun because you could easily talk to people who were woodcutting because it wasnt 90% bots back then. Now this game is just overrun by kids and bots and overpriced items.

I remember back when i traded a D med i got off a fire giant for a purple phat.

 

Meh, I don't PK anymore.

I just have a botted main and all I really look forward to are new quests and such...

I agree. Back in the old days, I actually enjoyed the game because it wasn't filled with bots and retards. Make a noob account and go stand in lumbridge asking for a taxi to varrock; you are more than likely to get a response like this: "read the map fucking noob".

It seems all the 'cool' people have quit, and now there's just bots and e-fags. That's why I just bot, but even that gets boring once you achieve those 99s.

 

I do not have a reason to, why because I am not good at it. As I said in my previous post, if they can not get a kill because they are not good enough with "new gear" then don't risk your bank and do it.

 

I haven't played in like a year, but yea I've been playing runescape since classic when I was botting with AR & Scar. And have been a well known player in the clan scene since the beginning of RS2. Bad assumptions are bad.

 

Yeah... I only bot now. It's really stupid honestly. Skills don't make nearly as much money as merchanting or botting does so there's no point. Even if you buy the materials off G.E., you LOSE money if you sell the made product from materials.

Fishing is horrible money, seriously? 500gp per shark? less than 100 per lobster? Garbage
Mining is OKAY money, but still not much, iron 100gp/coal 200gp each is whatever. That's pocket money.
Woodcutting is lame, so many botters, gets boring and all that jazz
All the other skills are meh.
Staking is lame because of the HUGE variety of weapons and basically, if you have 100s of mills to buy the gear and weps, ur gonna own everyone who has basic p2p gear.
Pking is lame, remember when I used to go to the wildy at lvl 3 and just lvl up there. I don't know what happened, but i remember ppl didnt use to run as much as they do now. why so scared of losing a freakin rune scimmy? seriously? its 15k.. compensate the winner for his food lost. ridiculous crap
I don't know, the game is dumb. My only reason for even being a part of runescape is because of Sythe. WAY better community than Jagex.
Did I miss anything? probably, but so did Jagex. every major update they make is GARBAGE
they took out free trade limit and screwed up merchanting. ppl found out how to make profits off G.E. because of price floor and then they DROP IT so the JUNK stuff that people ahve becomes worthless, the price floor drops so ppl lose even more money. scammers come out of the woods and start "doubling and tripling money".
rs4gold.com comes back even stronger with 100s of bots PER WORLD (I'm serious, when Jagex did that update last week to take down bots, all the worlds had less than half the original number of ppl they usually have. What gives? lol

NOTHING is fun on it, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Pest Control is stupid, you can get more exp from flesh crawlers and the void gear is absolute garbage.
Soul Wars is stupid, who's gonna sit there and get 100 zeals when you can bot.
All the mini games and distractions are pointless and ridiculous.
Everything is stupid on this game. Seriously. even the quests are retarded lol no real storyline or lore for this game to even captivate someone.

EDIT: And the combat triangle is messed up... really bad...

 

Ive never had as much fun in this game as when I was killing goblins behind the port sarim fish shop with a black longsword in 2005.

The problem is they focus the game to much on nolifers. Nowadays the only way to make many is to play ridiculous amounts of time (bot) or be maxed in every combat stat. If you're a noob, there is no way for you to become good, unless you bot. wealth is not devided in a proper way. There's the top players with heaps and heaps of cash, not knowing what to do with it and there's the players with a few mill. It's easy to make a few mill, but a few mill nowadays is nothing.

 

PKing is stuffed up!
