i have found a fix. however it is not the actual os rs client im having the same problem with my new windows 8.1 acer laptop and the only solution i found was to download a different program called os buddy i was a bit reluctant at first but it honestly works and is legit you can search it up for yourself many youtubers use it i tried many different things to get the actual client to load but os buddy was much more efficient
