why i quit runescape

If you've quit, why are you still on a website which has the primary objective of being a RuneScape marketplace?

 

I was waiting for someone to ask me! Just to share my story and respond to this thread hoping to serve as someone to help others quit. Havent got on since i made this thread!

 

You contradict yourself. The game is as bad as you make it. If you don't know how to set principals for yourself for it then you should quit. Don't try to impose us in quitting just because you lack restraint.

I've quit runescape, all i do is sell my accounts and buy accounts ( simply making money) and i am happy about that, i'm actually proud of myself that i quit, after the massive botting i quit, since the game was no fun i couldn't even skill 1 minute without being bored.

Haha! dude same situation with me... I do not own a gaming system :[ so i resort to cheap online games if I had a ps3 or 360, I would be so out of rs.

I understand , I guess everything is fun, but when you get addicted to it , it becomes fucked up .. There are allot of players who just enjoy playing rs without an addicting...
But once u become addicted .. u need to kick off.
I was addicted to rs 2 years ago, I stopped playing for a while , now I play but i'am not addicted anymore, you should try that 2

I couldn't get addicted to RS... I get bored of playing it too fast. I play for like an hour, get bored and go hang with friends. lol

You know nothing about addiction if you havn't played skyrim

 

I play runescape too but can control myself and not let it take over, btw i've spent about 1,100 USD on rsgp :|

 

I'm sorry to hear that the gaming got the better of you. And if you truely felt like this quitting runescape is honestly the best thing you could do. Try and stay away from all kinds of gaming/gambling and maybe even drinking as your willpower seems quite weak. (Absolutely no offence intended)
