    OMG SERIOUSLY?!?!?!

    TBH, Prototype has a cheat menu >.>... that's a rather new game, too >.>.

    Games still include cheats, however, most cheats are now done via gamesharks... That way users can make their own cheats. It's a new business :p.

    Including them in the game is cool, but most developers find it more productive to leave them out :p.

    Generally, I play any game with cheats... if it doesn't have cheats, I don't play it...

    Why would I want to play something exactly like millions of other people did? I want to push limits, break records, levitate for no fucking reason!

    Cheats are awesome.

    Gameshark has failed. Action Replay is much better.

    Well, since, as some people in this thread already said, most games are online games now, where you can't have cheats, as it will ruin the game for others.
    Therefore, it's not called cheats anymore; it's called "hacks".

    Good. They take the fun out of the game. I'll admit, I'm guilty of using them from time to time but I really hate doing it

    The main reason I bought most of my games is to cheat on them. It's much more fun! In my recently bought Pokemon game, I didn't even turn the game on before I used the walk-through walls cheat.

    why dont games use cheats anymore?
    Some people mention about the online, and cheating - I have rock band 2, and whenever I apply cheats, it disables the online capability, so I couldn't use it online.

    I don't know, some cheats are fine. Such as Guitar Hero, who wouldn't want to Unlock All Songs at the beginning and not have to play through the entire game? The Career in that game is pretty much pointless anyways. I think there should be cheats, just not like "OMG UR INVINCIBLE AND HAZZ 99 EVERYTHING LOL GO PWN N00BZ!"

    well, Cheats is part of GTA's Tradition,

    Some games just needs to be fair and remove cheats
