Why Does Vista Suck?

Obviously im not going to change your opinion since you take the smallest flaws with vista and turn them into a hate issue.

They may be small issues to you, but they are large to me. You will never change my opinion if you do not give reasons to me why I should not think Vista sucks. You have no once posted anything positive about Vista, only negative posts that attack my points, which makes me assume you have no points to why you think the way you do.

Vista takes longer to copy things than XP...

4.35 Gig test file, Windows Vista with Remote Differential Compression on.
Hard drive to Hard drive: 3:12 Computer to Computer: 13:54
4.35 Gig test file, Windows Vista with Remote Differential Compression off.
Hard drive to Hard drive: 2:47 Computer to Computer: 13:03
4.35 Gig test file, Windows XP
Hard drive to Hard drive: 1:33 Computer to Computer: 8:15
Turning off Remote Differential Compression saved 25 seconds on the internal test and 51 seconds in the network test, and Windows XP just stomped on Vista saving 74 seconds on the internal test and a whooping 288 seconds in the network test.

LMFAO Vista Rules! if u ppl are saying vista isnt compatable with anything u are wrong. Right click on the program and then choose properties. Go to compatability and select run in compatability for windows xp, 2000, 98, 95 , ME that simple

That does not always work. I have not found any programs that do not work with vista. What are your reasons that you think Vista rules?

Yeah, This has always been the case. Some people like it, others despise it. I could really care less, except RS private servers don't work well on vista i've heard.

I find Ubuntu a very good OS

Vista leaks so much memory, Has far to many core processes, and makes hashes of everything it does.

Im forced to have vista on my laptop, because the latest linux kernel isn't compatible with the wireless card i have..

But comparing the two, on my desktop and laptop.. Ubuntu is much better, in almost all respects.

Xp is alot more stable than vista if you don't want to be running Unix.
