Why does everyone have a pure?

Because it's fun, easy as it sounds.

 

I'm not sure whether or not you have actually PKed on a 1 defence account before - but compared to main style pking, it is a lot harder. You have no defensive bonuses whatsoever; you're constantly being combo'd by your opponent which makes fights fast paced.

You have to be on your game, be prepared for what is coming and how to counter it. That's just edgeville pking, not even hybridding.

Swapping prayers before they hit you, as opposed to main hybridding where you camp Soul Split as a pure you need to hybrid their attacks to minimise damage because we have no defensive gear to tank it out.


It's different, I have a 1 defence account, turmoil zerk, 30 defence turmoil and a 70 def / piety account. I would rather pk on my 1 defence account over them all; simply because the pace of the fights is a lot more enjoyable.
