Why do people think men don't have or hurts the crotch if they can do splits?

Calling someone homosexual for doing the splits isn't very funny, if you think about it.

No, it's your legs that feel the pain, mostly the inner thighs. Not your groin muscles or your crotch.

Sorry I should have made it clearer. I meant it should have been a silly explanation why people use it as a joke that would crack us up because of the silly explanation, not because of the offending joke itself. For example, another very offending joke is black people often steal (only using the joke as example, sorry if anybody here are black and I don't mean it at all), the explanation is so silly just because it's very racist and I cracked up when I heard the explanation the first time.

 

Yeah, I absolutely HATE when people turn jokes into long serious explanations. When I say gay, I don't mean homosexual. The term homosexual is a serious term. Guys call their friends gay 24/7 it's not a big deal.

"I had the best chicken last night"
"Dude you're gay, why didn't you give me some"

 

I understand what you're saying now. But yeah, if it happened a lot, that would be annoying.

I meant if getting called "GAY" or "HOMOSEXUAL" all the time for doing the splits, would get annoying. Because it's always the same thing they're calling you, just because you can do it, and they cannot.

Just laugh it off I guess. Most of the times, I don't think they are serious about it in the first place. Like my friends and me often have gay jokes with each other like:

my friend: "hey want to join me and John to a movie this weekend?"
me: "nah I will let you guys have a romantic moment with each other in dark privacy in the movie theater"
*one would usually become defensive at this moment but instead my friend would go the opposite way *
my friend: "don't worry, you can come. We had plenty of time for romantic moment with each other last night already, or we can have three-way"

 

Oh yes, I do that sometimes too. But anyways, thanks for the explanation.
