Why do people sell pins?

I'm confused why people sell pins for lower than what they are bought from jagex for?

Though pinlines are illegal, and it seems admitting you use one, here on sythe, you will get banned. Or atleast as i have seen in the past.

Yeah i'm assuming all of them use pinlines. They can't get banned if they have no proof
