You're missing the point of the saying completely.

The meaning of the saying is that while tangible goods such as money are important, there also exist immaterial things which we also put very high value on (ex. life, health, family, love, knowledge).

The main problem that people have with this saying is that they misunderstand it to mean that money isn't important- but this isn't what is meant at all. The actual meaning is that while money is important, there are other things which are also important, so people should not overrate the importance of money.

 

100% Correct. I agree with that. Money is not really bad to have though. It is the LOVE of money that destroys everything. Once you get into the state of mind where you will do anything for a little cash you are dangerous. Money can buy stuff like love but that love is not true love, it's fake. Money can't buy everything although it can buy most things.

This is all correct, people can use money to aid in their acquiring of non-monetary intangible things, but this does not amount to being able to buy the non-monetary item itself.
Yes, one can buy healthcare, but this does not necessarily amount to one's being healthy. Even though money can prolong life, it cannot alter the fact that everybody will eventually die. Life is something that money cannot buy.
Yes, one can buy mediums through which knowledge is transferred, but this does not necessarily amount to one's being wise. Simply being able to buy books does not make one wise; one must take the time to read them, comprehend them, and draw conclusions from what is written in them. A poor man can be much more knowledgeable then a rich man.

Money isn't everything, but it's important. It determines where you live, what education you get, what car you drive, ect.

 

Money isn't everything. Sure, it purchasing and using your purchased items can give you happiness, but items don't last forever. They are eventually either destroyed or become boring.

Another thing which I might throw in is that having a large amount of money can actually change you. It might make you what can only be described as a rich snob. And of course, no-one likes snobs which can take away several things from you including friends, love, respect, etc.
