Why did Rand Paul fail?

I think he had a lot of potential of vibing with younger generations in the way his father did, but he just came off as very...strange, if you get what I mean. I felt that he was a strong debater, and even attempted to attack other candidates but to no prevail did it help. I personally would've voted for him over any of the GOP candidates on stage due to his genuine stances that aren't just under a facade. What do you guys think, why did Rand fail so hard?

 

I believe it was a mixture of everything adding up, he was short on cash and didn't have many supporters even though his debates were nice.

 

Ron Paul was the man. His son not as much. I know what you mean saying that he came off "weird." I'm in the same boat though in the sense that I would definitely vote for him over any of the other candidates left.

 

He failed because he's not his father
