why cant u sell pins?

Account Upgrading is a service, whereas you give a trusted Member access to your Runescape account so he/she can add membership to the account someway.


Basically... It's a less illegal way of saying Pins

 

i know but theres a sticky saying you cant sell pins, when its the exact same thing but you don't need to give your info out or anything...

it's a way to prevent being sued by jagex(I believe). I don't like it myself either so I just let ppl apply it on teamviewer.

 

It's because if you use the term 'pin(s)' it encounters *******s, which are illegal. When you're saying upgrade, it's more "legal" as Gohan said. Upgrades are a better name for it for safety/legal purposes.

Pins are obtained ILLEGALLY. So we use "Upgrades" as a more legal way of saying it ;P
