Why cant scamming be fixed on here?

I feel like more and more I'm finding myself on this site browsing the report a scammer section, just to see who has gotten fucked today.

Why can't there be more rules implemented to help people losing thousands of dollars a day?

Wouldn't a smart solution be to make it like most forums where you must wait a certain amount of months before you can post anything in the marketplace so that 12 year olds aren't repeatedly ban evading to scam everyday?

If the site admins that run the "report a scammer" section put as much time into thinking of a solution as they do consistently hunting people down and looking over people's shoulders every second to see who the next vader is, I think the problem could be significantly reduced. It's almost 2k16, c'mon.

Trading safely takes common sense. There are plenty of ways not to get scammed. Requiring a month's wait before access is granted to the marketplace wouldn't work either. What is going to stop a scammer from creating a bunch of accounts and waiting the time out? There isn't a perfect solution but what Sythe has works well for most of the people.

Yeah at least people would be notified if somebody has the same info so they don't get scammed again @ghast.

 

Well... We COULD always have an escrow system... But some people are also against it... I am also against it for certain reason and payment methods.

For example: Some kind of paypal escrow? Someone charges back, sythe takes the hit= not exactly fair

Yeah, that system seems like it would make sense until Sythe is shutdown due to kids CBing lol. A good idea but this site wouldn't last long if that were to be implemented you're right.

Staff doesn't care about people being scammed. Everyone's to lazy to think out a way to ensure complete safety for both sides
