Why are so many people here racist?

Because they can be tough behind their keyboards.

While that is true, some people are still more racist than others.

 

I mean it is a forum and we all have our opinions and that gets expressed 10 fold on here due to there being no face to the message and that’s totally fine!

On topic, I don't know. It's disgusting. I imagine more than 3/4 of the people that are racist do not leave their parents for more than an hour a day.

 

I haven't encountered any racism on Sythe. Not so far. But if I'd have to guess, I would say it's mostly banter and/or trolling. Some are worse than others of course and I don't doubt there are racists here. They're everywhere. If I've learned something it's to take it with a grain of salt (idk if this idiom is correct in english but u probably understand<3)

 

The early users who are mentally healthy moved on with their lives and left the lowest common denominator.

 

I think acting like it doesn't exist is much worse than pretending not to be. Im from the north where racism is a lot more hidden (and worse) than down south where it is often times openly portrayed. Fact of the matter is slavery wasn't that long ago and the govt is changing the history books to try and fool the public (more so the next generation). There are many stereotypes in each ethnicity that in my opinion help contribute towards racism....but one step at a time.

 

If you're referring to the edgelords that post racial slurs towards black people on frequent occasion as some sort of catchphrase, they're not racists, they're edgy keyboard warrior tweens, who are wannabe racists. An even lower form of scum.

It's against TOS. Haven't seen any racism on this site yet but even if it does get posted it will eventually get reported enough and end up getting removed.

 

Good question, my input on the matter.

Some are trolls, others don't leave the house amd simply lack social understanding.

 

I see the N word get tossed around a whole lot and it makes me cringe.

You always know it's said by some weird white kid that would never dare say it to someone's face.

I just find it so weird people feel the need to say it.

Parents never loved them? Mommy issues? Cringeworthy appearance and personality? Probably all of these

 

There is a weird type of "echo chamber racism" present online.

You really only find this in online communities because people feel safe and their ideas are continuously backed by their peers.

You can only find this type of racism present in communities in real life with little to no diviserfication.

Most racists have an arrogant type of hate towards a particular group, its weird and is so foolish to hate someone for something they aren't in control of.

I can't tell the difference between the memey racists and the real racists anymore.

 

If you go in the Discord it's there. Like at least one or two racial slurs every day.

 

I guess I'm racist, I really hate india scammers and assume most people from there are scammers. It doesn't help 9/10 are scammers I encounter from there.
