Why are Gas prices so high?

What are your opoins on why gas is so high. Mine is i think its because bush is an oil man.

what can we do to keep them done. realistically. you cant boycott gas. think about we need it..if everyone steals 1 gallon of gas then it will shut down a couple of stations. the owners would then go to the gas company wanting them to refund them. my idea..

 

We gotta find some way to pay for all of that unneccessary equipment that we're using to bully iraq with. The easiest way to do that is to tax the things that people need the most. Daily things such as gas, milk, and other stuff.

If you think the U.S. is bad, Norway pays $8 for a gallon of gas.

I fortunately own a car that gets 32 miles to the gallon, so I can afford to drive. But for people driving SUV's or trucks it can't be worth it to have that car because of what you pay in gas.

 

because the US dollalr has decreased in value, and the US gets MOST of its gas from foreign countries. since the us dollar is worth literally a pile of shit, we have to pay countries more USD for gas and as a result WE pay more money for gas. gf.

They're high because gas is a non-renewable source, and is waisting away, just like rares in runescape

if there's something in little quantities it will be priced high and vice versa.

 

Also a very big factor is the OPEC, the Oil Producing and Exporting Countries, which most of it's members are located in the Middle East. The OPEC is a cartel that keeps the supply down to raise the prices.

Scam the american people? You do realize the oil companies only make a 5 cent profit per gallon of gas sold, right? Think about that: If the price of oil didn't change and the companies decided to sell gas at only 5 cents cheaper, they'd be making 0 profit.

Anyways, why is gas so high? Is it just a coincidence that gas prices started to skyrocket after the the supposed '9/11'? It might just be my opinion, but I think Bush did it to gain the support of the Ameridiots for the war. This allows us more access to oil in foreign countries, and thus more money.
