New post icons and smilies

Post icons​

Kind of annoying seeing the same 5-10 post icons being used over and over again. There is no variety because the other 21 suck in comparison to the other 10 icons.

Benefit of this?

• Different post icons being used
• More threads being created to use new post icons
• Community event can come from choosing the new icons
• The site progresses towards being more modern

Community event?

Well, I was thinking that a thread can be created in the sandbox so other members can find and post icons for the site to use. The list of icons will be compiled into another thread (voting thread), where users will pick the best 10 or however many post icons we can add that will be put/replaced on the current list of icons. To make it certain that users will participate in this event, you can give rewards to whoever got their icon chosen (possibly prize boxes).

Smilies​

The same goes for smilies. Users would be permitted to choose 3 icons and 3 smilies, one of each will be chosen by staff or whoever to be in voting.

Thoughts?

Well, post icons were already recently redone. There's a few old ones still in there, but new ones as well. But I'm all for new smileys. Honestly, we should use emojis.

Novelty will run out quickly but it's a quick add if someone provides the coding to be implemented, nothin really negative with it. Support
