Why are auths banned?

Yes I can see why you guys disallow the sale\trading of auths.

But if I personally own my auths, why can I not share them with the other users? I don't mind.

 

Because they get banned

 

The Auths that are overused get banned by the server and everyone is fucked out of their money. They just simply chose to not allow them as newbies would come in and start ripping everyone off for auths.

 

They get banned, it's easy to fake an auth.

 

Don' take this post the wrong way because I don't mean it as flame but.. You aren't exactly sure how the auth system for RSbots works..

I bought my first auth in 2009, Auto Miner Pro. It has been banned and reissued more times than I can count.

If you actually purchased the auth and didn't get it off a friend, you will get the reissue EVERY time it is banned. They can't refuse to reissue it, because people do get hacked, scammed, etc. So it's a automatic reissue.

Another thing I want to address is it doesn't matter if TWO people or TWO HUNDRED people are using the same auth at the same time, they all get disabled at the same moment regardless.

Every time they are banned, I would update my thread with the new auths for members.

 

The system was just recoded. Run it on 2 IPs at once and it WILL be banned in 24 hours. Hardcore auth sharers are also banned from the system.

 

Although I can concur that they have improved their detection system slightly..

Auths use to take 3-10 days to get banned.

Now they seem to take 1-5 days at most.

But like I said, I mass share mine with a lot of people and they don't get instantly disabled.

Look at the reissue dates + the amount of IP's




They may SAY that they won't reissue your key if it is a consistant problem, but I still have emails from 2009 when I was reissuing them\bought them,

 

Yeah, I don't see the reason on why you shouldn't be able to give/share auths, but I can see it being a problem for people who sell it, in this case you're not.
I think the main problem was that people couldn't show proof of it being their own auths-therefore, people could just give out auths that they steal from other people.
However, I do believe someone gave away an auth code a long time ago, after proving it was their code.
I think it should be allowed to give away an auth code as long as they prove it's theirs- in this case, you did.

 

I can look into getting you perm black listed if you like.

Try? It wouldn't be hard for him to do so seeing how he is known at rsbots.net. There's not much you CAN do when they do perm blacklist you.

OT: Auths are unsafe to trade. Someone may buy an auth and days later it might get banned because the seller chose to share it with other people.

Sharing is still the same thing. Either way there is a chance you are screwing the other person over. For all we know the person you share with will get his IP blacklisted and he won't even know he did something wrong.

Why go to so much effort to ban evade in order to complain that you can't post auths (which presumably) you've already done (and been banned).

Such effort to hide my IP? Yes. Because I'm sure there are some mods/staff on here that would be willing to release my home IP privately in order to have me black listed from Rsbots. Wouldn't surprise me tbh.

Anyways, I never use my home connection, for anything, except Paypal purchases.
