    Who's good at maths?

Because no one actually looks in the homework section, lets be honest its hidden in like a 3rd sub-forum

    I'm stuck on this Q

    Q) the possibility of the gender of a baby is 51% girl and 49% boy. Suppose that 100 babies were born, whats the probability its exactly 50 girls 50 boys

    dont fukn troll alrite

    P(GBGB...GB)= (51/100)*(49/100)*(51/100)*(49/100)...(51/100)*(49/100) = ((51/100)^50)*((49/100)^50) there's 50 of both G and B
the same probability is for every combination 100 births that has exactly 50 girls -> there are 100!/(50!(100-50)! combinations = 1.00891345*10^29
    therefore P(50 of 100 are girls) = (100!/(50!(100-50)!))*((51/100)^50)*((49/100)^50) = 0.0780129528

and I can't be bothered checking if I got it right

Really though, you shouldn't be having issues with this. I haven't taken my statistics & probabilities maths course yet but I just browsed to the right page and applied it to your problem
