You made a video because I blocked you on Skype after you calling me a dozen times and were spamming my inbox, is your brain really telling you all of this or are you just pretending/trying to be as annoying as possible?

He only responded once his pardon was submitted and yes I actually did believe he was in the military believe it or not.

 

You blocked me from the Discord so I pmed you from Skype to ask why you did this. You didn't respond to me and yes I was temporarily banned due to my pardon being processed.

You cannot justify your actions except for the fact that teamtofu probably had your dox and threatened to release it if you didn't do what he said.

Just wanted to ask about this thread as it has been sitting there for just over a week now with no staff replies.

I think that a moderator should at least post if it is being looked into/being discussed amongst staff because at the moment it just looks like it is being ignored or no one knows the best way to handle it

If there is no concrete evidence that they are the same person then it should just be locked for that reason because OOO is trying to offer services on this site and this could discourage people from using him if he is legitimate.

Judging by round 1 in the title it would appear to me Sepharic would be aware of the thread being locked due to lack of evidence and would open a "round 2" thread in the future if he finds more.

 

Just wanted to say that I have requested other staff members multiple times to look into it, but nobody has done so sadly.

 

15 staff members yet there's only 2 or 3 that actively handle disputes and pardons.

 

It's always been that way. With pardons not giving modscore, or very little it seems now, it's hard to get them to dig deep and do a lot of research. In addition, it's very easy to miss things whilst doing research, so you don't want to be pinned with missing something and pushing a pardon through to voting. They should give like 5-6 modscore points for pardons, since it's very easy to award modscore with the current pardon system. Tag the points to locking the thread, and whoever approves it and sends it to voting will get the points for doing the research.

 

If giving more modscore for pardons and disputes is what it takes for moderators to stop being so afraid of handling them, I'm all for it.

 

It's a small incentive that might help a little bit. By no means will it fix it all. It's likely an issue with dealing with people who are frustrating to deal with (happens a lot with the pardon/dispute section) as well as it being quite difficult do to in terms of searching through the web to find any dirt you can)

 

Well looks like I have predicted the future. He deserved not to have any services. He was always a bit scummy and his scam quit has ended up leaving Exxy to post more suggestions regarding the staffing of the Sythe.

This has now been solved but its a shame the staff claimed they could have done "nothing" to prevent the scam quit as obviously we all know that a large chunk of scam quits can be prevented.

Edit: all in all the staff do an alright job at banning scam evaders however they are not doing it fast enough so more stuff needs to be put into play regarding this.

Edit2: @Sythe I spoke with trusted user @Boney, he also said theres no reason to allow VPN's in Sythe.

 

Vaders tend to donate a lot of money. Of course there's a good reason to allow VPN's on Sythe from a monetary perspective.

 

Just for the record I'm not biased or anything haha.. but @Sythe I would love you if you did this.

 

Kinda silly why it's not that way already, I assumed it'd be changed as soon as the pardon system was consolidated to a one tier voting system. It requires the most work, why not reward it as such?

 

I feel like this very much. I legit just wanted to handle a dispute thread but it's like I ended up linking every Sythe member to that one user. It's like going through a maze and you'll miss things guaranteed. I'd rather have experienced users like @Chloe and @Charlotte handle them until I am more sure of what I'm doing there.

 

I can teach you. Disputes/pardons can be fun to search thru when you know what you're doing.
