Who got you into Runescape?

My best friend in school back in 2007.

 

Sometime 2002-2003 I was playing alot of flash/online games on miniclip.com.
Found Runescape, told my best friend about it, played in tutorial island for a week but couldnt get out since i didnt understand english back then.
Then like 2 years later i heard that some people in my school played it so i started again, played on and off ever sence.

One of my good friends a long time ago back in classic. He stopped playing, I keep coming back on and off.

I was about 8 and I went to my friend's to hangout. He pulled up some game and was killing goblins, cutting trees and making fires? Sounds crazy, right?

Well after that night in 2002, I kept telling him it was stupid and I didn't want to play. A month later, my dad helped me set it up on the computer and I was hooked. Mined Rune Ess at one point everyday before school, after school, and before sleep. I've always been driven by potential money making, and I owe it to RS. Hehe

 

Close school friends. They showed me the game one evening and as soon as I woke up the next morning I started playing.

 

This was me pretty much, I remember my friend's brother talking on the phone and playing a game (he and his friend were meeting eachother). Eventually we would all mine in the Varrock southeast mine and make bank by selling our armour we smithed to the general store.

My cousins got me into the game, they showed me it and were freaking out about how cool it was.

 

A friend got me into the game and at first I thought it was pretty lame but he was crazy about it. Few months later I was bored and tried it out, it had its hooks in me.

 

Pretty much every ten year old was playing runescape back in the day. My story follows the same guidelines as everyone elses. Now I am pretty much the only one who still plays.

Holy crap it's been 8 years..

 

My best friend around 2003. I was so impressed with the fact you could make your own armour and everything. I have quit around ten thousand times since then.

I just come back on now and again because ive got some pretty good memories and met some genuine, nice people too.
