Eminem is not a bad rapper at all!
His first albums were some of the best ever in the rap industry.
People think he is a poser or something because of his race.
He actually had a very bad childhood, and ended up with a daughter that meant the world to him. So he took off in music, and supported her. And with his music he told his life story, and actually sends many different messages besides bad ones.

The one thing that really set him apart from others was he told a story in his music, and had something to say.
And if you know rap, this makes all the difference.

So do not judge him because he is white, and the perfect people think he is bad.
He might be the best dad, and man you would ever meet. But if you judge by appearance then who cares. You will ever know.

But seriously the eminem sucks stuff is getting old. You probably don't know half of his music.
The best songs are the ones they don't play on the radio.
Eminem is up there with the rap idols.
And about him influencing children... There is a thing on the front of his albums saying 'warning, bad language, and etc.'
So the only way they are being influenced is if the parents were letting them listen.

1. steal it
2. get a older friend to buy it
3. download it from itunes etc.
4. download it illegally from a place such as ares , lime wire etc.
5. get the songs from a friend ie the Friend burns them a cd.

F.y.i , Vanilla Ice sold 26 million records in 1991 alone..That is phenomenal as at that time, rap just went into mainstream music.

I like some of Eminem's songs, but I don't like the way he made fun of Michael Jackson, especially seeing as he called himself a "fan".

Calling Eminem a 0 talent rapper is calling every other rapper in the game a 0 talent rapper. He was at the pinnacle of the entire rap game in 2000 - 2004. Now because of that major hype surrounding him, he can make any song he wants and it will sell. And example of this would be... Just Lose It. Now, being an Eminem fan for more then 8 years, I could tell straight away this song was a piece of shit for his standards... But, what do ya know? It sold. Just like everything else he has/will make.

Rapping is his career. The point of having a career is to make a living for yourself and your kids. I'm sure that if his shit wasn't selling he would quit. Too bad he's still the most successful rapper to date, including Tupac. If you were doing something that was a gift you were born with and you were making millions off it, you wouldn't quit because some kids think you're a poser.

Right now, he isn't at the top of his game and that's completely obvious. Jay-z might be at the top, since I myself don't think Lil Wayne has much to show for the rap game as far as lyrical skill goes.

As far as talent is concerned. Eminem was considered the best freestyle rapper, I would probably agree. But then again, most people haven't heard of Jin.
