Like wth..

today i have logged into runescape to find out that they are complete idiots with their new fixed prices, being 99 Smithing, i "use" to pride myself in selling rune items for regular prices based on bar costs (total amount it cost to make a rune bars), however today i found out that it is no long to make a profit or even break even with the current price limits they have placed on rune items.

For those you who did not know current:
rune bars: 14899 (something close to that)
rune axe: 9100
rune 2h: 42000

so as u can see it quite impossible to continue to buy and sell for profit anymore.. therefore a skill that have been prided by most if not all runescape players espeically myself has been ruined.

so i guess all i can tell is .. give jagex a bomb so they can blow themselves up, cause it would be the first blow job they would have without having to pay for it.
 
Lol @ Bomb thing.

I agree. Sharks used to be a profit when cooked, now they are a 150 gp loss. Ive lost over 5m just trying to get to 98. Jagex has really out done themselves

thats' the economy i guess..i'm not too fussed i stocked up on a mask set ^^
 
Yeah skillers can't make much money anymore unless doing the most boring of things like fishing/mining/woodcutting which do not require pre bought items.
 
I cant believe that Jagex would do that. I have been working on my smithing for a while. It's not worth all the hard work.

i only have 79 smithing but its a pain to get up to a high lvl. smithing is useless now because no more pking. i used to make addy helms and chain to use for pking.
 
i wonder how jagex is dealing with the sudden HUGE drop in members they used to have, bet they're losin thousands of dollars by the day >.>! and they deserve it. yeah they said they realized that it's gonna drop, but i wonder if they expected THIS much. xD
i hope they screw themselves over and get back to their senses soon..
 
Well, yeah smithing was something good. I had lvl 70 smithing on 49 lvl guy (not a pure, just normal character 5 years ago).... but its still 70 now and im 122 lvl. Got bored :D. And players sets the prices! Not jagex.
 
Yeah I agree the prices are just another thing sinking runescape. Some lvl 3 with a santa said he bought his santa for 8k in Grand Exchange..I dont know if he was serious or not but man people are getting despret :)
 
i really hate that they only let you go 3k bove or bellow thier "correct prices" or whatever you want to call them you cant merchant anymore
