[Riot Lyte ask.fm] - Chat Restricted, Ranked Restricted or Game Banned...

Basically, anyone that has been chat restricted, banned, leave buster banned, or placed in a low priority queue (20min+) will not be eligible to receive ranked rewards for the 2015 season. This means, no border, icon or victorious skin/champ.

Everyone basically thinks its absurd and unwarranted. Get chat restricted once, for one game, you're fucked. Internet cut out for a few games out of thousands, you're fucked.

Anyway, post your thoughts. As of now, it seems the whole community, Reddit, LoL forums and others alike are completely against this.

But anyhow i have a 1500 game restrict so doesnt really affect me LOL. (however i still got the rewards last year when this was said)

Everyone has been chat restricted once or twice.. sometimes you can't even do anything about it. (I've had friends that just had bad games, got reported and got chat restricted, even if they didn't say a word ingame).

I'm actually scared now, I worked so hard for my dia border this year and it might be taken away from me now?! Let's hope this isn't final.

He made a mistake in his ask.fm answer, he meant to say that while those who have active restrictions at the end of the season will indeed not be getting their rewards, those that have reformed by the end of the season WILL be getting their rewards.

I've played league for 4 years now and have never once been restricted. I flame, swear, and argue with teammates if things get heated, but really how hard it is to just not be a dick?

Well this doesn't really affect me, I have a good pure internet connection, have never been muted before, because just try not to flame others even if you are doing bad and you won't be muted ever. I also have never been placed in a low priority queue ever because I just wait my games out if I'm losing or just straight out surrender.

You can even troll, I don't think you'll get banned for that, just troll in a human like manner then they can't even report you for griefing! HAHA

 

I still got my rewards last year when this was said even though I was a toxic fuck. Empty threats for PR, imo..

 

It is true, I was ingame/skype with my friend she did really bad that game but never talks ingame. She got reported and next day chat restricted.

 

There were definitely games before that she was chatting in as well. Reports alone do not constitute a chat restriction.
